Healey Westland 1948
This 1948 Healey Westland is believed to be the original Donald Healey prototype car that he personally drove across America.
After being discovered, the car was shipped out to Melbourne Australia, in 2003 and was restored locally. Fortunately, a small amount of the original paint colour was found on the car which was sufficient to allow colour matching.
Our task was to refurbish its original classic steering wheel, while retaining the original patent stamp on the hub.
The “Green Goddess” as she is now known, resides in Florida with owner Bill Emerson and has been the recipient of many prestigious awards.
Thanks Bill for the follow up photos, she is a thing of beauty!
